Location

Van Ness Ranch is located in beautiful Mariposa California. This is a truly magnificent place to live. Nestled among the pines in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the scenery is spectacular. The air is clean and fresh. The city of Mariposa is said to be "above the fog, and below the snow". It is a wonderful place to call home.

There are seemingly unlimited recreational opportunities both in Mariposa and nearby. Yosemite National Park is a short drive away.

The climate of Mariposa County ranges from warm, dry summers and mild winters in the foothills to mild summers and snowy winters in the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada.
